A city which everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime, Istanbul, is an enchanting blend of Eastern and Western culture, although no longer the capital of Turkey, still remains the country\u2019s cultural and business centre. It is not possible to see the whole city in a few days but we will visit the old ancient city in our Istanbul city tour.<\/p>\n

Hagia Sophia:<\/strong> The Church of Holy Wisdom, undoubtedly one of the greatest architectural creations in the world, was used as a mosque during Ottomans and now serves as a museum.<\/p>\n

Byzantine Hippodrome:<\/strong> The center for entertainment, amusement and sports in the city during the Roman and Byzantine Empires. The Egyptian Obelisk, the serpentine column and the German fountain of Willhelm II are sites to be visited.<\/p>\n

Blue Mosque:<\/strong> The Sultan Ahmed Mosque, one of the most revered masterpieces of the Islamic world, is famous with its blue ceramic tiles and six minarets.<\/p>\n

Topkapi Palace:<\/strong> The former imperial residence of Ottoman Sultans and the oldest and the largest remaining palaces in the world. Today, it is used as a museum to exhibit works of art and many priceless artifacts. The harem section is not included in this tour.<\/p>\n

Grand Bazaar:<\/strong> The oldest and the largest covered market place in the world with more almost 4000 shops owing rich collection of handmade carpets, jewelery, leather and souvenirs..<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

  • Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays and replaced with Underground Cistern.<\/li>\n
  • Hagia Sophia is closed on Monday and replaced with Underground Cistern.
